Job Description Summary: The Customer Insights Intern is responsible for the day-to-day coordination, management and execution of customer surveys, market research, CRM analysis and Loyalty Program support. The Customer Insights Intern will be the customer advocate within the rue21 organization, speaking to common themes in customer feedback, research, CRM and Loyalty analysis and insights gained from deep analysis. This position is responsible for providing support as needed for the overall planning, coordination and execution within the CRM and Loyalty team. This is a paid internship (40 hours per week). The duration of the Summer Internship Program is approximately 11 weeks beginning May 2020. Responsibilities: Conduct market research in partnership with outside vendors Conduct ad hoc customer analysis and reports based on requests and notable trends Interpret, synthesize and present market research reports provided by external partners Work with outside vendor(s) Work cross-functionally to communicate and address customer behavior and shopping trends, and identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations (or pose questions) for ways to enhance the customer experience Work closely with the Store Operations, Customer Service, Merchandising and Creative/Branding teams Partner with the CRM and Loyalty team to educate and provide added context to customer and member trends Support CRM and Loyalty team in project planning, coordination and execution needs
