The Role


The Prospect Development Specialist will be responsible for marketing Fidelity Family Office Services (FFOS) to internal business partners, driving new business opportunities from these channels while supporting our Sales Executives with strategic new business wins. The PDS, will have the opportunity to think creatively about how to message the FFOS offering, manage a sales pipeline and engage directly with some of Fidelity s most sophisticated investors.

Role Objectives:


Internal Channel Development

  • Own and manage relationships with internal business partners (PI Phones/Branches, SPS, FCM, ERG, CGF, WI, etc.) to create new FFOS sales opportunities
  • Ensure FFOS value proposition is communicated effectively and associate population understands what a profile relationship look like
  • Create a repeatable cadence of communication to maintain heightened associate awareness

Efficiently manage sales pipeline

  • Profile opportunities and swiftly filter for strong prospects
  • Present FFOS offering to prospects
  • Close opportunities by managing through Business Acceptance and Implementation process

Strategic Project Work

  • Assist Regional Executives with strategic, external opportunities
  • Manage and ensure that referring, internal business partners are credited when business closes
  • Partner with FORGE group to foster Sales team community development
  • Work closely with The Investment Collaborative and Relationship

Management teams for organic business development


The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor s degree required Advanced degree or designation (CFP, CFA) a plus
  • Series 7 + 63 registrations required
  • 8 years + industry experience
  • Client facing experience required Business development a plus
  • Knowledge of Fidelity systems (Focus Point, FBSI, SalesForce) and various Fidelity business units
  • Strategic, creative and marketing-like mindset
  • Confident, effective communicator with ability to profile and persuasively deliver FFOS Value Prop to UHNW investors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks

The Team


The PDS, will be an integral part of the Sales and Relationship Management teams driving new business to Fidelity Family Office Services (FFOS). FFOS provides custody, brokerage, investment and reporting services to family offices, wealthy families and the advisors that support them. FFOS is a cost-effective alternative for clients who want institutional capabilities delivered with objective guidance, exceptional service, integrity and security. This role demands a strong business acumen, ability to think strategically and knowledge of the high net worth and platform ecosystem.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
