JOB TITLE: Family Medicine Physician

LOCATION: 1120 West Washington Boulevard. Los Angeles, CA 90007

DUTIES: Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventative care, and health promotion to patients. Duties to include: provide direct quality healthcare to patients with acute and chronic medical issues; act as a health advocate; obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients; establish diagnosis of patients; perform clinical services to patients with illness or disease; order appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures; interview and advise patients regarding health and illness prevention; prescribe medication in accordance with statutes and professional practice guidelines; instruct patients regarding medications and treatments; provide patient education regarding illnesses and health results; refer patients to appropriate specialists and consultants when necessary; adhere to established clinical protocols and procedures of the clinic and ensure proper treatment is provided; observe all infection control procedures; follow established policies and procedures for medical coding; participate in staff medical education programs; attend required meetings and participate in committees as assigned; and maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with regulations.

REQUIREMENTS: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or foreign equivalent.

• Graduation from an accredited medical school or foreign equivalent;

• completion of a ACGME accredited residency program or foreign equivalent;

• license to practice medicine in the state of California;

• California D.E.A Certification;

• Current Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support certification;

• Board certification in Family Medicine;

• Spanish or Korean fluency required.

RATE OF PAY: $ 267,910.58/year
