MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center has an excellent opportunity for a full time Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine physician with Obstetrics to join a family-focused team at Palo Alto County Health System located in Emmetsburg, Iowa.

Job Description:

•   Candidates must be Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine AND OB Fellowship-trained (fellowship must be completed prior to start).
•   Must be able to perform C-sections
•  Affiliate of MercyOne, Iowa s largest health system
•  Busy practice with instant volume
•  4-day work week. Excellent Work/life balance.
•  Join 3 Physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers
•  Full Spectrum Family Medicine with Obstetrics and C-Section
•  The selected candidate will work in a modern medical facility and have an opportunity to perform Obstetrics and C-section as well as work Emergency Department shifts. This opportunity offers an excellent work/life balance.
•  Physician has ability to tailor practice to interest.
•  PACHS is a modern 25 bed critical access hospital that provides a full continuum of primary health care from health promotion to end of life care
•  67 annual admissions, 114 births, 22,126 outpatient visits, 5,258 specialty clinic visits and primary care clinic visits of 34,636
•  Lab, X-Ray, ER, pharmacy, and behavioral health services on site
•  Outreach specialists from MercyOne North Iowa- General Surgery, Cardiology, ENT, Urology, Ortho Surgery, Dermatology, Otolaryngology, Audiology, Wound, Ophthalmology
•  Palo Alto County Health System is aggressively pursuing market share to ensure a thriving Family Practice/OB practice. Two surrounding counties do not offer OB services and Palo Alto County Health System would like to support them.
