Family Medicine opening in West Virginia x000D x000D Located in Princeton, WV - Beckley 35m x000D Full-time/Permanent x000D x000D Family practice physician provides quality clinical care to patients and participates in the on call responsibilities of the Practice. x000D x000D Diagnoses illness, prescribes and administers treatment for age appropriate patients suffering from injury or disease. x000D Examines patients, obtains medical histories, writes orders, and or performs and interprets diagnostic tests. x000D Records data in the patient's record; Completes progress notes and appropriate electronic health record; prepares patient workups noting pertinent positive and negative findings. x000D Treats common illnesses minor injuries, infectious diseases, and immunizations in age appropriate patients x000D Provides appropriate preventative and health maintenance care to age appropriate patients. x000D Performs appropriate procedures in office in accordance with privileges. x000D Safeguards appropriate coding and documentation compliance. x000D Performs some general administrative responsibilities. x000D x000D Education Requirements x000D x000D Graduate of an approved school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine. x000D Completion of internship and residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. x000D Residency waived for Physician(s) completing internship prior to 1995. x000D Licensed to practice as a physician in the state of West Virginia. x000D Board Certified or currently in the certification process by the American Board of Family Medicine, American Board of Internal Medicine, American Osteopathic Board of Family Medicine, or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. x000D
