We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Family Law Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our thriving legal team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing family law cases from beginning to end, under the direction of our senior attorneys. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field of Family Law, matrimonial matters, or a related area.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive support to our attorneys in all aspects of Family Law, including divorce, custody, child support, and other related matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, manage and organize case files, and maintain case lists.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial disclosures, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and other professionals to schedule and confirm court dates, meetings, and consultations.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and uphold the firm's reputation by handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Participate in team meetings and case reviews, providing valuable insights and suggestions to improve client service and team efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, preferably in Family Law or matrimonial matters.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent legal qualification is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
  • Solid understanding of legal procedures and terminology related to Family Law.
  • Passionate about Family Law and committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.
