Responsibilities:

As a Family Law Attorney, you will be expected to:

1. Handle a wide variety of family law cases, including dissolution of marriage, custody agreements, child support, and other related matters.
2. Provide sound legal advice to clients, helping them understand their rights and options.
3. Draft and review legal documents, ensuring they are accurate and serve the client's best interests.
4. Conduct thorough legal research to support arguments and stay updated on recent changes in family law.
5. Represent clients in court, presenting evidence, and arguing cases in a clear and persuasive manner.
6. Participate in mediation and negotiation sessions, advocating for your client's interests while striving for fair and amicable resolutions.
7. Coordinate with other legal professionals, such as paralegals and legal assistants, to ensure smooth case management.
8. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney.
3. Active and in good standing Bar membership.
4. Proven experience in handling family law cases, particularly dissolution of marriage and custody agreements.
5. Strong litigation skills, with a track record of successful court appearances.
6. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
7. Strong negotiation and mediation skills, with the ability to resolve disputes in a fair and amicable manner.
8. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear and understandable manner.
10. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
