Facility Operations Manager Support the Fixed Wing Project Office, Program Executive Office (PEO) Aviation on Redstone Arsenal through managing and executing all activities required to maintain organizational facilities to include furnishings, equipment, conference rooms, offices, and all associated installed, mounted or standalone accessories. Coordinate daily with office personnel as well as internal and external support personnel to identify issues/requirements for resolution and either directly resolve or identify, pursue, and track to completion work orders or other appropriate courses of action. Emphasizing program management and lifecycle support by maintaining all aspects of facility control/management and accomplishing all Government lead assigned tasks. Position requirements: Provide all labor necessary to perform facilities management support for the Fixed Wing Project Office (FWPO).
Submit and manage facility help desk ticket request.
Assist in the development of checklists, schedules, and various FWPO efforts.
Assist with property team with accountability, inventory, shipping, receiving, installation, and distribution requirements, including Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL).
Generate and submit purchase requests for internal program office/building/maintenance supplies, equipment, and furniture via Government Purchase Card orders. Generate, track and provide status of facilities work orders.
Execute and manage the completion of daily, intermittent and end of year facility/equipment inspections.
Coordinate and track work orders and activities with proper Army protocol.
Review, track, and update submitted facility work order requests status to track repairs to facility equipment.
Request quotes, coordinate with assigned business division personnel to assist with product support and information for facility renovations and work orders.
Manage the facility requirements to ensure safety adherence within both Sparkman Management Office requirements and Redstone Arsenal Garrison Management Office requirements, to include fire safety and prevention equipment requirement standards.
Interface with internal and external personnel regarding acquisition efforts as they relate to FWPO facility requirements and the operations team.
Support the in/out-processing of personnel as relating to property and facility access, management, and ability to support the daily Operations activities as required.
Support the FWPO Security Manager as the Alternate Key Control Custodian for building 5304 managing the access and issue of all keys and security codes as well as be the Primary Key Custodian for the non-critical storage lockers distributed throughout the office areas.
Apply knowledge of the Microsoft (MS) Office Suite of products to develop PowerPoint briefings, Excel spreadsheets, and Word and Adobe Acrobat documentation as needed.
Independently review incoming and outgoing documentation and briefings for clarity, grammar, spelling, punctuation and format.
Conduct telecoms/meetings with the Special Staff and attend meetings with the FWPO leads to coordinate plans of action to assist with facilities and operations.
Minimum Requirements: BS and three years of directly related experience (in lieu of degree, an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted)
Must have experience with utilization of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
Must have demonstrated experience working in a team environment.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Existing Active Security Clearance REQUIRED: SECRET
