Facilities Technician

Contract Duration 12 Months

Pay range - $24 to $30/hr

Job Description:

The Facilities Technician performs operational monitoring, maintenance, and repair of equipment associated with the semiconductor facility.

The Facilities Technician reports to the Department Manager and assists in meeting the corporate production and growth goals, working with a senior-level Facilities Specialist.

In meeting these goals, the Facilities Technician will ensure that maintenance is performed on schedule in a prompt and efficient manner.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to senior facilities staff in the performance of Preventive Maintenance (PM) of the facility's infrastructure.

Responsible for performing maintenance activities

Ensure Maintenance documentation is maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements

Perform Basic Maintenance of equipment according to requirements outlined in SOPs

Perform and ensure all Maintenance activities are completed on schedule to maintain regulatory compliance

Provide support and assistance with facility-related upkeep and general maintenance

Provide support during Calibration of utility systems instrumentation as needed

Provide support during Validation of utility systems as needed

The employee will need to respond on-site to address emergency alarm notifications

Occasionally stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities in this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

Job Functions:

The Facilities Technician provides support to all departments in a quality and service-oriented approach

Perform operational monitoring of all facility systems and equipment as part of Engineering Department Requirements

Complete daily facility inspection checklists

Escort contractors and vendors during the performance of troubleshooting, testing, and Engineering activities

Assist with troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions as needed

Assist in the performance of Validation activities as needed

Respond to Service Requests for troubleshooting and repair of facilities and equipment

Maintain job-related training and qualifications in accordance with SOPs

Maintain requirements to work in clean rooms

Document PM, Calibration, and Service Request activities in accordance with SOPs
