Job Details

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversees buildings and grounds maintenance, ensuring efficient and smooth business operations
  • Ensures security and emergency preparedness procedures are implemented properly
  • Utilizes all safety precautions and observes safety requirements
  • Manages the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet compliance and safety standards
  • Recommends maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
  • Mentors, oversees and supervises the quality of work for vendor/facilities personnel to ensure that all tasks are performed correctly, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Maintaining positive vendor/staff relations.
  • Conducts and documents regular facilities inspections
  • Reviews utilities consumption and strives to minimize costs and move to green power
  • Forecasts, allocates, and supervises the financial and physical resources of the facility management
  • Manages the capital budget for the properties. This includes contributions towards a five-year plan of maintenance, facility improvement, and cost

reduction initiatives.
  • Takes ownership and pride in all work
  • Be available for emergency needs and requests

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • 5+ years progressively responsible experience
  • High school diploma
  • Strong project management and technical engineering skills
  • CMMS/Work Order Management knowledge and experience a must
  • Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
  • Great communicator, and established skills in problem solving, time management, multitasking and organization
  • Professional Facilities Management certification, ideal
