We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Extrusion Operator to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. This role is crucial to our operation, as you will be directly involved in the production process, ensuring the efficiency and quality of our products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the extrusion machinery, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting any issues that may arise. This position requires a strong understanding of machine operations, as well as the ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and maintain extrusion machinery, ensuring its optimal performance and longevity.
2. Examine, measure, and weigh materials or products to verify conformance to standards, using measuring devices such as templates, micrometers, or scales.
3. Turn controls to adjust machine functions, such as regulating air pressure, creating vacuums, and adjusting coolant flow.
4. Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, temperatures, amounts, dimensions, and flow of materials.
5. Perform regular quality checks to ensure that the products meet the required specifications.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process.
7. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
8. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Extrusion Operator or in a similar role in the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proficiency in using measuring devices such as templates, micrometers, or scales.
3. Strong understanding of machine operations and the ability to adjust machine functions.
4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments.
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in a relevant field is a plus.
10. Physical stamina and strength, as the role may involve lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.
