Qualifications of the Production Supervisor

• Proven experience as a roofing technician with a minimum of 7 years in the industry, including supervisory roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of different roofing systems with repair and installation methods.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and climb ladders, lift heavy materials, and work at heights.
• Valid divers license

Production Supervisor Perks and Compensation:

• Base range $60,000-$70,000 (based on candidate experience)

The Production Supervisor, will report to the Director of Operations and Administration, and will also be responsible for supervising and executing roofing projects from start to finish. This role requires a deep understanding of roofing both commercial and residential, excellent leadership and communication skills with a commitment to safety and quality. As the Production Supervisor, you will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of workmanship.
The main tasks of the Production Supervisor include:

• LEAD the Team. MANAGE the Team. Hold the Team ACCOUNTABLE. (LMA)
• Work with the Director of Operations to create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for all Mighty Dog Roofing Production.
  • Utilization of CRM's including Acculynx, Microsoft Office, etc.
  • Involvement with weekly production and sales meetings to discuss previous weeks and scorecard numbers with the production team.
• Responsible for MDR Production Quality Control and Efficiencies including:
  • Supervise and lead roofing technicians, ensuring all members adhere to safety standards and company policies.
  • Oversee the installation and service teams and when necessary doing warranty repairs and teach the guys in the field a better way to do something.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to specifications, safety standards, and building codes.
  • Provide hands-on training and support to team members, promoting skill development and adherence to best practices.
  • Work directly with the project coordinator to manage project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Troubleshoot complex roofing issues, providing practical and effective solutions.
  • Ensure all projects are completed to customer satisfaction and follow up on any client concerns or feedback.
