Job Description Are you an experienced Machinist? OpSource has partnered with a fire protection company located in Liberty, SC.
Pay for the position: - $ 25.00 - $30.00 DOE + $2.50 shift premium
Shifts for the position: - 3 rd Shift 11:00PM - 7:00AM
Job requirements for the position may include: - Plans machining by analyzing work orders, blueprints, sketches, models, and/or descriptions to determine dimensions and setup requirements.
- Measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material as guides for subsequent machining as necessary.
- Responsible for heat treating parts.
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines as necessary to machine parts as required.
- Observes machine operation to detect malfunctions and adjust machine controls as required.
Qualifications for the position: - Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Parts Management System, CMMS System, CREO, and CAD Software
- Well-versed in hydraulics, pneumatics, brazing and soldering
- Associate's Degrees in CNC Machining and/or Related Field REQUIRED.
- 4+ years in Machining and/or CNC Programming - experience in manual mills and programming are a huge plus.
