Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: ANSER is seeking qualified personnel to support MARFORPAC leadership and participation in USMC, Joint and Combined training and exercises events in the INDOPACOM AOR and beyond. SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Exercise Planning Support Analyst will support the MARFORPAC G3 Exercise Branch in planning and development of Joint Chiefs of Staff, CCMD, MARFORPAC Headquarters (HQ) and Subordinate/Component exercises, engagements and assigned operations. Exercise Planning Support Analyst will support Project Officers as they plan and coordinate Field Training Exercises (FTXs), Command Post Exercises (CPXs), Tabletop Exercises (TTX), Senior Leader Seminars (SLS) and training events that prepare tactical, operational, and strategic forces for possible future contingencies. Project Officers will plan exercise operations and logistics using an analysis of exercise objectives & tasks, MARFORPAC unit capabilities, deployment requirements, forward operating location assessments, and resource constraints. Duties include: Coordination, organizing, development, and employment of Training and Exercise Employment Plans (TEEPs) Inputs to and/or management of Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) database Use and/or management of the Joint Training Information Management System (JTIMS) Use and/or management of the Force Management Tool (FMT) Use and/or management of the Automated Message Handling System (AMHS) Development and use of Master Scenario Events Lists (MSELs) Development, review, and/or use of CONOPS slide in support of requests for information. Development, use, and/or management of Joint Manning Documents (JMDs) in support of exercise requirements Specific Qualifications: Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility 2-4 years of relevant experience at Higher Headquarters organization (e.g. MAJCOM, equivalent, or above) Minimum of 4 years relevant experience inputting to and/or management of Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE) database Knowledge of the operational and logistical support required for exercises, deployments, and mobilizations and familiar with TPFDD nomenclature Experience supporting staff-level exercise planners, and experience supporting planning/executing CPXs/FTXs within the INDOPACOM AOR (preferred) Operational and/or logistical experience in the Asia-Pacific Theater and supporting Theater Security Cooperation efforts (preferred) Researches and understands MARFORPAC G3 mission, needs, and constraints; proactively identifies issues and recommends proposed solutions. Strong interpersonal/social skills; provide products and services that are useful, timely, and of superb quality. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Adopt a logical and consistent approach to information gathering and problem solving. EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Bachelors degree of higher and 4+ years of relevant experience OR Associates degree and 8+ years of relevant experience $100,000-$123,000 Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
