The Executive Security Officer position pays: $50 an hour


Hours of work for Full-time/Part-Time

Monday - Friday, Various Shifts, Weekend coverage as required


Job Description:

In this high-level assignment, Executive Security Officers are expected to staff fixed posts and conduct patrols as designated by our client's security needs. Executive Security Officers will patrol the facility/campus on foot. Executive Security Officers are responsible to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, and or unauthorized persons on the grounds. Executive Security Officers will also observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, life/safety personnel or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required. The assignment will also require that the Executive Security Officer will have the ability to be armed during this assignment. The Executive Security Officer must possess all of the appropriate licenses to carry a concealed weapon in accordance with California State Regulations

Requirements:
  • Executive Security Officers must be able to make clear decisions within parameters of established policies and protocols
  • Exercise calmness of action during highly stressful situations
  • Communicate and interact in a positive and professional manner
  • Must be able to respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, bomb threat, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, and other incidents or conditions following procedures
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Maintain a professional/business casual attire for the assignment or as directed.
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality and execute an NDA for the client.

The primary duties of the officer working this high-level assignment are as follows but not limited to:

  • Ensuring the safety of all employees and intellectual property while occupying the space.
  • Must familiarize with all entry points and exit routes
  • Assist with emergencies or evacuation of the space (fire, natural disaster, threatening situation).
  • Monitor radio and telephone calls affecting or applicable to the security assignment
  • Provide escorts in the assigned space for facilities, client staff, and or mail or janitorial service.
  • Conduct routine monitoring and surveillance of the CCTV system of the client.
  • Document incidents and report to clients Security Management Team.
  • Report any issues with cameras, access control, or equipment to the client's respective Security Manager
  • Executive Security Officers shall report incidents or concerns (unless exigent circumstances exist) to the appropriate security manager.
  • Ensure no tailgaters access designated spaces

Job Requirements

As an Executive Security Officer for Accomplished Security Inc., you will be responsible for securing and safeguarding our client's employees and property. You are also required to know all site-specific policies and procedures and implement emergency response activities for our client as appropriate. In addition, you are expected to provide our client with outstanding customer service.


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 10-years law enforcement experience or equivalent is required
  • Must have the ability to carry a concealed firearm in accordance with CA State Regulations
  • Possess a valid Security Guard Card and be personally responsible to maintain its validity throughout your employment with ASI
  • Be currently certified in CPR, use of an AED and Basic First Aid and be personally responsible to maintain its validity throughout your employment with ASI.
  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Display exceptional customer service skills
  • Possess effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with the general public and all levels of the client's personnel in a polite, professional and effective manner
  • Possess or have access to a reliable means of transportation to work
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites. Ability to learn to operate the client's security and safety systems which include but are not limited to access control systems, CCTV networks, and fire/security alarm systems.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence, including logs and reports
  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
  • Able to:
  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
  • Ability to work various shifts and cover assignments on weekends as necessary
