Executive Director

Current Executive Director of Meadow View Senior Living is retiring after 15 years. This is a full-time role.

Experience : Preference in the field of dementia and geriatrics either through training or experience with a background in management experience. Budget experience preferred. Marketing experience desirable. Prior supervisory duties in personal care senior living, assisted living, home health, or nursing home preferred.

Your Operational and Financial Responsibilities include:
Responsible for all fiscal management by operating within the approved budget
to ensure the facility maintains a consistent positive financial position.
Billing, collecting accounts receivables, paying invoices include

Coding
Payroll
Deposits

Manage all expenses according to budget and communicate with the CFO the weekly running
balance so funds can be appropriately distributed into the operating account.

Reconciling month-end bank statements when released on the 2nd of each month and submitting
them to the CFO no later than the 10th of each month - if not before.

Review A/R aging weekly and following up on all unpaid accounts if accounts exceed $10,000
contact CEO and Regional Director for assessment.

Your community responsibilities include:
Responsible for the safety and physical, mental and emotional health of the residents.
Perform walk-throughs of the building and grounds to assure that the building presents in the
best light possible and to interact with residents, staff, family members and visitors to assure
customer satisfaction.
Maintain outreach and education within the community at large, creating positive relationships
and marketing opportunities by closely working with professional, civic and private
organizations.
Develop and review marketing plans to meet financial goals.
Assure the healthiest possible residents by monitoring the care of the residents to assure all
needs are being met, and that proper documentation is being performed for their care needs as
well as their medicine management.
Your Staffing Team responsibilities include:
Directly supervise department managers and is responsible for the overall direction,
coordination, and evaluation of these departments.
Management meetings as needed to keep all departments informed of pending issues
at your community. Manages budgets for each department head to assure
accountability for department budget.
Manage labor through department head involvement so that all labor dollars are within
operating budget.
Create positive associate relations through staff appreciation programs, recognition of excellent
performance, and retention through performance evaluations.
Responsible for the development and management of facility services and accommodations and
the hiring and training of qualified staff so that the facility meets the licensure standards even in
their absence.
Responsible for meeting and maintaining all licensure standards for quality assurance.

Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree from a four-year college or university, or one to three years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Demonstrated experience achieving operational results at a Senior Living Community.
