What Will I Do?
- Assist plumbers in completing work orders through trenching and excavating the job site.
- Clean or prepare job sites to eliminate possible hazards
- Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, tampers, or rakes.
- Operating both mechanical and manual excavation tools and equipment.
- Operating company vehicles in safe and courteous manner.
- Observe all safety requirements.
- Communicate in a professional manner when in uniform with both the customers and supervisors.
Do I have What it Takes?
- Valid Texas drivers license (3 years driving experience with clear driving record)
- Backhoe / Excavator operation experience is a plus.
- Must be a ble to work in confined spaces and open trenches.
- Able to perform manual labor in an outside environment for long periods of time.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior plumbing excavation experience/exposure is a plus
- Solid interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs.
