Job Title: Events Manager (part-time) TMGL is a small business with HQ's in Northern Virginia. We are a defense contractor providing support for media relations, communications strategies, managing social media, websites, generating high end graphics and all other aspects of public relations. TMGL is seeking a Events Manager (part-time) to plan, coordinate and provide logistics support for all meetings, conferences, trade shows, recruitment fairs, and off-sites events for a contract with the US Army acquisition organization at Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. Prior military experience is not required, but preferred. Responsibilities:
• Planning, coordinating and providing logistics support for all meetings, conferences, trade shows, recruitment fairs, off-sites, information exchanges, exhibits (design, production, set-up and tear-down) and demonstrations to educate internal and external audiences.
• Responsible for all protocol requirements surrounding hosted events, to include planning, organization, registration, publicity, administration, flag placement, and preparation of conference materials.
• Synchronizing events across the organization.
• Serve as the organization's speaking and conference manager per the Army Conference Policy.

• Submit written summaries and outcomes of each event for archival and monthly metrics reports.

• Advise leaders and other staff on events and protocol issues, ensuring handbooks, standard operating procedures, etc. are current.
• Develop and integrate social media tactics into events.
• Support other Program Executive Offices and Acquisition organizations with relevant Army Acquisition recruiting materials.
• Responsible for developing an annual engagement strategy, including internal and external events.

• Coordinate live-streaming events.
• Recruitment fairs/outreach activities, attend job fairs and military training events to provide support and marketing for USAASC HQ, DRU, and AAW recruiting.
• Responsible for acquiring booth space and assist with logistical support.

• Education: Minimum bachelor's degree

• Experience: Minimum five years' experience in event management Salary: $45/hour part time hourly rate.
Place of Performance: Government site, US Army Base, Ft. Belvoir, VA
