EV Director - Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (DLP/Cloud/InfoSec)

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team in San Jose, CA. You'll play a vital role in safeguarding our Electric Vehicle (EV) projects and client data.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage your cybersecurity expertise to recommend, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge security solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive robust security programs and ensure compliance.
- Design and implement a comprehensive Data Loss Prevention (DLP) program to protect endpoints, data, networks, cloud environments, applications, and systems.
- Take ownership of the DLP solution, including advanced configuration, monitoring, and fine-tuning. Develop and enhance detection techniques to stay ahead of evolving threats.
- Lead the design and implementation of a full lifecycle data management solution, encompassing data classification, access control, encryption, and data masking.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks across the supply chain and enterprise.
- Lead vulnerability assessments and prioritize remediation efforts.
- Champion security investigations and incident response efforts. Build automation playbooks, develop threat detection queries and analytics, and continuously improve our security posture.
- Support the implementation of best practices for industry certifications.
- Prepare security deliverables, metric reports, and documentation.
- Stay at the forefront of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, trends, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in Information Security or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of various security disciplines (endpoint, cloud, network, IAM, DevSecOps, incident response, threat intelligence, etc.).
- Extensive experience with DLP and insider risk management programs.
- Experience securing hybrid on-premise and public cloud infrastructure (AWS a plus).
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO, CIS).
- Proven experience with security tools like PAM, DLP, SIEM.
- Experience with zero-trust concepts and secure software development lifecycle integration.
- Leadership skills and ability to drive cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience securing Linux, Windows, and Mac OS environments.
- Programming, automation, or development experience a plus.
- Technically proficient and hands-on approach.
- Prior experience working on Electric Vehicle projects is a strong plus.
