The Boeing Corporate team is seeking a highly motivated Estimating and Pricing Manager (Level K) to join the organization in Mesa, AZ. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills as well as knowledge of Boeing cost structure and long-range business plan processes. To be successful in this position, a candidate should have knowledge of government, company, and local policies and procedures relating to the development of cost proposals, rate development, and accounting. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees performing estimates, cost or price proposals, case development and risk, financial and competitive analyses
Develops and drives project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field
5+ years of experience in a business-related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management, Marketing & Sales)
Experience leading a team or project
Experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization Preferred Qualifications: Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
Knowledge of estimating techniques (e.g., parametric, staffing, analogous, detailed task build-up, models, improvement curve theory, standards, realization factors, price/cost estimating relationships) to determine the appropriate approach for a specific function, task, or cost element and apply and/or adjust this approach to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation
Knowledge of audit, fact-finding, and effective negotiation processes (e.g., self-audit, internal audit, government audit) and how they affect the proposal process Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
