Work Locations:
  • Pasadena and Annapolis;
  • Hybrid - 3-4 days in office, with 1-2 days remote.


Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess estate planning and elder law needs;
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents;
  • Develop and implement effective estate plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances;
  • Provide legal guidance on elder law issues, including Medicaid planning, long-term care, and guardianship;
  • Represent clients in probate and estate administration matters, ensuring compliance with Maryland laws;
  • Collaborate with the team of attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service;
  • Stay current on changes in Maryland estate planning, elder law, and probate regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school;
  • Active membership in the Maryland State Bar Association;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with an estate planning law/probate/elder law firm;
  • Special needs planning and/or Medicaid planning experience is a plus;
  • Strong knowledge of Maryland estate planning, elder law, and probate laws and regulations;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Compassionate and client-focused approach to legal practice;
  • Drive to contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
