ERP Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled ERP Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of a new enterprise-wide ERP system. This critical role will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the ERP implementation project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Management:
    • Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
    • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external consultants/vendors.
    • Manage project communication, ensuring consistent and effective dissemination of information to all stakeholders.
    • Monitor project progress, identify and address potential risks and issues, and take corrective actions as needed.
  2. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze organizational requirements for the new ERP system.
    • Ensure that the ERP solution aligns with the organization's business processes, objectives, and future growth plans.
    • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to capture and document requirements accurately.
  3. System Implementation and Integration:
    • Oversee the implementation of the ERP system, including configuration, data migration, testing, and user acceptance.
    • Coordinate the integration of the ERP system with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility.
    • Manage the development and deployment of customizations, enhancements, and interfaces as required.
  4. Change Management and Training:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive change management strategy to ensure user adoption and minimize disruption.
    • Design and oversee end-user training programs, ensuring employees are equipped to effectively utilize the new ERP system.
    • Manage the communication and documentation of new processes and procedures related to the ERP implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large-scale ERP implementations, preferably with the specific ERP system being implemented.
  • Strong project management skills, with certification such as PMP.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of business processes, system integration, and change management principles.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
