Responsibilities
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Maintain the highest standards for quality workmanship, safety and housekeeping
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production equipment and plant facility's equipment.
Manage equipment repair documentation and equipment down-time metrics.
Assists with validation and start-up of new production equipment and/or processes.
Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as necessary
Implement and perform preventative maintenance measures for all manufacturing equipment
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and/or hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
Maintain inventory of repair equipment, parts, tools, and supplies
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol
Perform other maintenance duties as requested
Required Education/Experience
Minimum 5 years experience in PM/Repair Manufacturing Equipment
Proven experience as maintenance technician
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and other systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
High school diploma/GED required
Effective written and oral communication skills
Able to work well with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
Familiar with NFPA 70E, ISO 12100-2, OSHA 1910.147,
Physical Demands:
Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
Capable of working overtime as needed to support equipment
Must be flexible in scheduling
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
