Job Description:
Apex Systems is looking to hire an ONSITE Equipment Engineer for our client based out of Dublin, VA.
This assignment is anticipated to be a 12 month contract with strong potential for extension; however, Apex Systems cannot guarantee the length of this assignment.
This will also have a first shift Monday-Friday schedule.
Responsibilities:

•  Focuses on planning, designing and implementing maintenance programs to optimize the availability and productivity of manufacturing facilities and equipment including
•  Planning and coordinating maintenance engineering work including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications
•  Support the work with continuous improvements of maintenance and cost optimization.
•  Support in subcontractor issues
•  May establish standards and policies regarding pollution control, testing, operating procedures, inspection, and maintenance of equipment.
•  May research and recommend purchase of new equipment and systems. Experience:

•   2+ years relevant experience
•  Works independently with general supervision.
•  Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex.
•  May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
