The Environmental Services assistant is responsible for housekeeping procedures to meet resident needs in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Housekeeping team members participate in the monitoring processes for the housekeeping department and will notify supervisor when supplies are needed, when equipment is in need of repair, and when areas of the facility are in need of repair. Select cleaning materials, load service caret and clean assigned areas. Clean equipment and notify manager of any necessary repairs. May collect hazardous waste and transport it in special closed container for sterilization. Collect or distribute linen, clean and soiled. Qualifications: High School graduate Two (2) years of experience preferred As an Environmental Services Aide you will have: High School graduate . Two (2) years of hospital experience preferred.
