Description: Markon is actively looking for a Safety Specialist. Duties to include: Tracking Federal, State, and local environmental guidelines regarding disposal of hazardous materials Draft policy statements, SOPs, fact sheets, and communications regarding environmental regulations Understands NEPA Act and is able to provide facilities professionals with NEPA applicability Develop environmental compliance management plans Conduct environmental audits and inspections to ensure regulation compliance Conduct environmental compliance training Job Requirements PE or Qualified Environmental Professional (QEP) credentials preferred 5 plus years of experience required Travel 0 - 10% Location McLean, VA - McLean, VA US (Primary) Education Bachelor's Degree Job Type Full-time Career Level Experienced (Non-Manager) Category Engineering Exemption Type Exempt Date Needed By Security Clearance TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph
