Target Salary: $67,240 to $85,000. The Environmental Health, Safety, and Security Supervisor is a key role responsible for safeguarding both people and the environment within Sunsweet. They play a critical part in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Additionally, they handle workers' compensation matters related to workplace injuries and illnesses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Support in the annual review of all health & safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies. Provide leadership and guidance to EHSS team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization. Supervise security personnel and Safety lead directly and indirectly as necessary. Conduct regular safety audits and environmental inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner. With the EHSS Manager develop, manage, and deliver EHSS training programs for employees, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and working with other department leaders, develop corrective and preventative measures. Maintain accurate records and reports related to EHSS activities, including incident reports, inspection findings, and training documentation. Serve as company representative on all Chemical related issues including preparation of CalEPA required CERS documentation. Oversee workman's compensation claims. Ensure they are managed promptly, with proper documentation and reporting. Facility injured employees' return to work by coordinating modified duty. Supports the EHSS manager and acts as a backup in their absence. Assist the EHSS Manager in any other duties required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of security and safety systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point Strong communication skills to interact with employees, management, and external agencies. Thoroughness in record-keeping, incident investigation, and compliance. Education and Experience: Associate degree in a related field or related experience 2 years' experience in a safety role. 1 year experience in a supervisory role. OSHA 30 certification Physical/Safety Requirements: Tolerate extended periods of sitting at desk. Ambient noise is louder than a traditional office setting. This role requires regular presence on the plant floor.
