Position Summary

Delva Tool & Machine (DTM), a CMT company, is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager (EHS) for our Cinnaminson, NJ location. The Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing health, safety, and environmental policies and programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and to promote a safe and healthy working environment. This role will involve working closely with management, staff, and regulatory agencies to minimize risks and enhance safety protocols within our CNC manufacturing operations.

This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:30am-4:30pm. The pay range for this position is between $110,000 - $125,000/year depending on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs tailored to CNC manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard analyses specific to CNC machining operations to identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental hazards.
  • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
  • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance by implementing best practices, conducting audits, and fostering a proactive safety culture.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conduct regular drills, and ensure readiness for potential emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records of EHS activities, incidents, and compliance, and prepare regular reports for management review.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, maintenance, and other departments to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of CNC manufacturing.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
Experience, Qualifications, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of EHS management, materials planning, and inventory management experience, ideally in an aerospace/defense CNC manufacturing environment or related industries.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist), or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations and standards. Familiarity with CNC machining processes and equipment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence a safety culture, manage cross-functional teams, and drive EHS initiatives.
  • Proficiency in EHS management software and tools, and the ability to interpret technical data and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience within the machining and manufacturing industry, preferably in a multi-country environment, ensuring efficient procurement, production planning, and logistics coordination across international locations.
