The Role: The EH&S Manager is responsible for providing focus, definition, and technical expertise for the development of a proactive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) program. This role is required to develop programs across the scope of all three EH&S pillars while developing relationships with local city/town officials in multiple locations. It is expected that the chosen candidate will bring proven experience with innovative EH&S compliance and risk reduction techniques. It's important for the candidate to understand how to implement an effective sustaining EH&S program in a manufacturing environment. What You Will Do: Ability to lead and manage the full scope of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements. Capable of aligning and influencing others to achieve the desired EH&S performance objectives. Partner with PBB site leaders to ensure alignment of EH&S requirements, scheduled improvements, team needs, and to seek necessary support of site roadblocks. Develop and implement EH&S policies, procedures, KPI's and programs across the company. Maintain updated OSHA and EPA-required written programs and develop/conduct training as necessary including OSHA injury logs. Administer hazardous waste removal and reporting. Oversee the Environmental reporting and monitoring of company's wastewater compliance. Oversee the necessary EH&S training to support and enhance the organization's safety culture, standardizing procedures throughout all sites. Develop and deploy policies, procedures, and programs to support the identification of best-practices and leverage these throughout the organization. Develop and facilitate employee-led teams that solve problems and lead the respective location for safety improvement and awareness. Coordinate the interpretation of regulations to operational requirements and compliance. Own and drive continuous improvement of EH&S KPIs and actions from the analysis of data and other effective methods. Find effective ways to drive the right EH&S employee engagement at PBB. What You Will Bring: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required; Master's degree desirable. Five years of related experience preferred. Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven proficiency in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for reporting, data collection/analysis. Ability to implement visual standardization and processes.
