Job Title: Environmental, Health and Safety Co-Op- Fall 2024 Job Description: Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission. WORK LOCATION: Billerica, MA Program Dates: June/July-Late December 2024 Core Purpose: Environmental, Health and Safety Co-Op would support the limited EHS staff at the facility. The core purpose would be to work directly with the operations staff on executing EHS programs and initiatives such as JSAs, process safety, incident investigations, etc. In this role, you will: In this role, the co-op will become familiar with basic EHS principles that specifically apply to manufacturing. Their work will mostly be a continuation of the previous co-op and will work to identify additional initiatives or areas for improvement that can be part of longer term ongoing efforts. You're a good fit if you have: The person should have strong interpersonal skills, proven ability to work in teams, science or engineering coursework such as chemistry, environmental science, biology, environmental/civil engineering, environmental law, etc. Desired Major & Graduation Date: Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Safety, environmental law, with a graduation date of 2024, 2025 or 2026. Physical Requirements: Ability to walk and work on their feed as well as the ability to speak clearly. Your success will be measured by: The individuals success will be measured by their ability to work with others, take ownership of their projects, see them to fruition, think outside the box to come up with innovative solutions to ongoing challenges, and work independently on execution that will bring projects to closure.
