This position is required to be on-site at our Beson, North Carolina, location.
- Identify and analyze safety hazards and risks with regard to process safety and machine guarding.
- Familiarize yourself with organizations and industry best practice tools to analyze risks.
- Complete risk assessments that include physical, process, and ergonomic hazards
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for facility operations and processes.
- Analyze the findings and create a facility master scorecard.
- Implement procedures to mitigate risk following risk assessments.
- Pursuing a degree in safety, EHS, or industrial engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
