West Tennessee (Jackson) client seeks an EHS Manager with a background in manufacturing. The company provides generous pay and excellent benefits. Relocation assistance may be available.

Looking for a Manager who will be hands-on and manage one Safety Technician. Responsibilities emphasize on Safety and Health:

Conduct workplace surveys, safety audits, safety assessment, accident investigations.

Develop and maintain Emergency Action Plan, Emergency Preparedness Training, including evacuation drills, and conduct periodic audits of emergency equipment and fire suppression systems.

Provide safety trainings, with an emphasis on Behavioral Based Safety.

Working with a broad knowledge of Federal, State, and local safety rules, and a detailed knowledge of safety engineering principles, work toward reducing accident hazards and exposures.

Ensure compliance with all requirements, including OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other rules that affect the organization. Responsible for environmental permitting and compliance reporting.

Establishment policies and directions concerning EHS. Implement the EHS program in compliance with corporate and government policies.
