The Environmental, Health & Safety co-op position will work directly with the Integrated Production Teams in the Decorah, IA facility. This position entails working independently and in conjunction with department personnel, company employees, supervisors and contractors on projects related to Environment, Health & Safety process improvements. This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, and will run May/June to December; it is only eligible for current students with a graduation date past December 2024. may be eligible for relocation. Primary Responsibilities: Activities are associated with the site EH&S compliance program to ensure a compliant, safe, and healthy workplace. Organize, maintain, & communicate EHS policies to ensure compliance with Legal, RTX, & Collins rules and regulations Support the programs, processes, and procedures to improve the EHS culture for employees and contractors. Analysis of leading and lagging performance indicators Collaborates with Operations and other Site Leadership to integrate EHS performance into site business activities. May assist facilities engineers (planning and design of facilities). Basic Qualifications: Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
