The role of the Regulatory Specialist is to provide regulatory support to internal and external customers in accordance with legal requirements and corporate guidelines. They will perform predefined responsibilities and/or deal with technical/functional problems according to established standards and processes. Some of the core responsibilities include maintaining service level KPIs, adhering to regulatory service frameworks, and mastery of business software (BW/Sage/SFDC).

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Actively participate in department meetings & discussions.

- Proactively participates in team building events & networking opportunities.

- Sensory Panel Participation

- Virtual and In-Person Events

- Others as the business dictates

- Advise internal customers regarding regulatory compliance related to creation and research needs & initiatives.

- Identify regulatory challenges relevant to commercial opportunities and collaborate cross functionally to solve them.

- Develop and maintain company SOPs.

Customer Support:

- Complete and deliver documentation to support internal & external customer requirements.

- Identify issues relevant to customer opportunities.

- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers.

- Obtain thorough knowledge of customer requirements.

- Identify opportunities for efficiencies with current processes.

- Deliver support on time, meeting customer expectations.

- Work to provide solutions, rather than just answers.

Qualifications:

  • University / Bachelor's Degree in food, biological or physical sciences or relevant field.
