This position is located within our Flexible Assembly Operation at our Livonia, MI facility
Flexible Assembly provides assembly services to many of the leading edge companies in the automotive industry
Products we produce for our customers consist of Off-Road tactical military vehicles, self driving autonomous vehicles & electric vehicles just to name a few
These low volume, highly technical projects make for a very exciting work environment where you learn cutting edge technology on a regular basis

Qualifications

6 months of recent hands on Automotive Vehicle Assembly experience or equivalent schooling (i.e
H.S
Auto Shop / Trade School)
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have basic understanding of automotive systems
Must be mechanically inclined
Must be able to use manual tools and power equipment safely
Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve
Must have good organizational skills
Must have good attention to detail
Must possess the skills to read, comprehend and execute written procedures
Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn
Good oral and written communication skills
Must have reliable attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends
Must have basic tools

Preferred Skills
Previous auto mechanic or co-op experience preferred
Automotive electrical systems experience a plus
