Entry Level Liquid QC Technician, Elgin, IL
Our client who specializes in industrial coatings manufacturing in Elgin, is looking for an entry level QC Chemist on 1 st shift.
Work Days: M-F (7:00am-4:00pm)
Responsibilities
- Perform lab project bench work
- Provide laboratory quality control testing to support manufacturing operations including for incoming raw materials and finished goods.
- Perform quality testing in support of our customer's production operations
- Determine proper adjustments needed to production batches to be approved.
- Write Technical Service Reports
Education & Experience
- BS Chemistry or Other related science degree is preferred (will also consider candidates with a BS in Biology)
- 0-3 years of relevant experience
Preferred Experience
Relevant industry experience (1-4) years' in industrial quality control as technician in liquid chemistry (wet lab) and/or batch making
Candidates will need to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
