Entry-Level ITS/Traffic Engineer

Job Description

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level ITS/Traffic Engineer for their office in Conshohocken, PA.

This position is expected to begin May 2024.

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level team member.

Work as part of a team and also independently in learning, evaluating, and applying ITS and Traffic Engineering principles, standards, and criteria.

Learn and utilize various modeling tools for traffic analysis (Synchro, HCS, VISSIM) for a variety of conditions and needs at specific intersections, along arterial corridors, and for freeway segments.

Assist in preparing technical reports and papers for clients and/or internal distribution.

Assist in performing various ITS and Traffic Engineering studies.

Adhere to project schedules and budgets.
