High growth financial services firm that is a SEC Registered Investment Adviser is seeking to add a Staff Accountant to their team. The organization has over $5B in Assets Under Management and provides sophisticated financial solutions to Investment Advisers and their clients. You will work alongside the Accounting Manager to perform month close activities as well as some analytical projects. The organization is team-oriented, collaborative, and is seeking an individual that can operate in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.

What you will perform in the role:
- month close and quarter close activities including posting journal entries
- processing of accounts receivables and billing
- assisting with accounts payables and entering invoices into QuickBooks
- processing expense reports
- bank reconciliations and account reconciliations
- assisting the Accounting Manager with the financial statements
- partnering with the external auditors
- Running reports in the system for sales via Quick Books
Qualifications for Position
- We are seeking 2+ years of accounting experience
- financial services is preferred
- CPA or an individual who is CPA eligible is desired
- Accounting/Finance Degree
