Service Experts has initiated a set of technology initiatives to transform the way in which we provide total home comfort to our customers.

To make this transformation a reality, the Information Technology department is adding an Enterprise Solutions Architect to the team. The Enterprise Solutions Architect is a facilitative leader that creates long term, architectural capacity within the organization by guiding and coaching both business professionals and technologist through the practice of enterprise architecture. The Enterprise Solution Architecture will combine business, technology, and leadership skills to define the architecture of technology solutions for the financial services segment of the enterprise.

Work Activities

• Builds strong partnerships with the business and technology stakeholders
• Facilitates discussions with business and technology stakeholders to understand how current systems support the functions of the enterprise
• Cultivates transformational and incremental opportunities for improving the positioning of systems that support the functions of the enterprise
• Develops the current state and future state architectures of the business and information systems domains of solutions through the definition of models and views
• Leads intersystem design decisions, such as functional placement and integration, that define or cross system boundaries
• Presents strategic and tactical cross domain and intersystem solution design options and recommendations to decisions makers for decision
• Facilitates the cross functional evaluation of technology products being procured
• Manages the definition of lifecycles for technologies
• Coaches and guides technologist on system design decisions
• Contributes to the definition of architectural principles that guide the application of technology within the enterprise
• Contributes to the definition of the enterprise's strategic technology direction by representing the alignment of technology to the needs of the enterprise
• Contributes to the analysis of industry technology trends that are of possible value to the enterprise

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Experience leading the definition of solutions architectures for major technology efforts
• Experience defining and maintaining the architecture models and views for an enterprise segment
• Enterprise Architecture certifications in TOGAF, Zachman, and ArchiMate preferred
