Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Hillsboro, OR - 97124
Please note: This role is 100% Onsite, Laptop will be issued.
Job Requirements/Responsibilities:

Experience with Windows OS
Experience updating/configuring system BIOS
Experience programming firmware via common industry tools (dediprog, etc)
Experience with board assembly and rework (familiar with board ass'y and rework process)
Experience with common test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Electronic loads, Digital multimeters, Logic Analyzers, Power supplies, etc.)
Capability to navigate a schematic, correlate with a PCB layout, and locate components on a circuits board
Some entry level knowledge of Python to edit and execute python scripts needed to validate hardware
Work independently to validate instruments/systems and features with accuracy, and document test results in a clear way, with HW Validation plans
Execute enumeration cycling data collection and document results
Basic soldering skills to perform PCB rework (light duty)
Perform initial root cause of issues encountered during general use of development test systems, and during HW validation and enumeration cycling (hardware & software)
Knowledge of Excel spreadsheet used for data collection and analysis
Must be able to work safely around energized systems; Follow safety practices and guidelines when lifting and handling hardware to setup testers
Help with lab cleanup and organization of test equipment and accessories
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions is a must; Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced and fluid environment
Self-motivated, self-directed, and driven. Some degree of judgement required in resolving nonstandard problems.
Good communication skills and able to work within a diverse team
Ability to assemble/rework standard computer systems from raw components, experience with Windows OS, experience updating/configure system BIOS, and experience programming firmware via common industry tools (dediprog, etc).
Responsible for the test system assembly, bring up, and debug.
Minimum Educational Requirement: BS degree, HS diploma or Equivalent required.
