Pay for the position: DIRECT HIRE
Job requirements for the position may include: - Drives capital projects from strategic planning phase through purchase, installation, run off and hand off to operations.
- Directs master technicians engineering technicians and leads technicians' projects and priorities.
- Improves current machine tools to increase uptime, improve quality and increase productivity.
- Provides engineering support to production equipment and processes, including advising maintenance.
- Trains associates on new technologies and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain Plant layout and manage Mid-term strategy for process.
- PFMEAs: understand the use of PFMEAs within our organization; develop, maintain and review PFMEAs as needed/required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the position: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution required.
- Minimum three plus (3+) years of experience in controls engineering, PLC programming, or related field.
- Position requires technical knowledge in machine function, processes, control system, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives and electrical/electronic systems.
- AutoCAD experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Complete core classes of Achieve Global.
- Experience in continuous improvement activities will be considered a plus.
