PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and document engineering, integration, and readiness processes and procedures for the Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications-Tactical (C3T) Tactical Network (TN) systems
- Prepare required product documentation and maintain configuration item baselines
- Participate and assist in the coordination of Integrated Product Team (IPT) and other technical forums
- Coordinate with program, project and product management offices to assess the efficiency of the engineering and integration processes
- Independently evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, and make minor adaptations and modifications
- Assist in the management, maintenance and automating of Configuration Management tools
- Oversee the delivery of software applications in test and deployment environments
- Maintain proper version controls of software deliverables
- Analyze configuration issues and propose appropriate resolutions
- Participate in design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products to ensure proper identification, control, and status accounting of the software baseline for each system
- Lead integrated project team(s) and provide independent and professional support on portions of complex projects
MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors of Science (BS) degree in Engineering or a related technical field of study
- A minimum of ten (10) years' of related networks systems engineering or engineering experience
- Experience maintaining configuration baselines and knowledge of managing configuration management tools
- Experience performing design reviews, configuration audits, and evaluations of software products
- Ability to effectively communicate with and lead Integrated Project Team(s) (IPTs)
- Ability to provide independent and professional support on portions of complex projects
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Ten (10) plus years' of engineering experience.
- Experience with tactical military communications systems
