Engineering Design Checker with Security Clearance

Responsibilities:
Perform the Design and Documentation Checking function, for mechanical, electrical, and electronic packaging engineering drawings and specifications. Perform all functions associated with the Design and Documentation Checking process which include but are not limited to format, specification compliance, completeness, accuracy, design soundness, ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards, ASME Y-series Drawing and Documentation standards, MFC Command Media and EPM (Engineering Procedures Manuals), fabrication, producibility, assembly, installation, and interface validity, tolerance analysis, BOM verification, data and configuration knowledge, change requests and notification methods. Requirements:
ACTIVE DOD SECURITY CLEARANCE WITH A 5 YEAR BACKGROUND REQUIRED
US Citizenship required
Bachelor's degree
Proficient in the use of Windchill, Smarteam, and Catia V5 Have expertise in all areas of tolerance analysis, GD&T, electro/mechanical design skills and model checking skills.
