Engineering Aide

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Engineering Aide to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Archbald, PA. This is an initial 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description:

Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.

Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.

Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).

May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

Prepares test and evaluation reports.

Submits final acceptance reports to program management for approval and delivery.

Updates JIRA with status provided by engineering staff and ensures proper status of all contract items.

Requirements:

High School Diploma.

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Knowledge of JIRA software.

Be able to effectively communicate with customers, program team and other functional departments.

Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
