OE Engineer provides Functional Ownership of different aspects of Operational Efficiency Processes and Methodologies of Operating Assets. They assure Operating Assets Efficiency, complying with and driving Operational Processes and Methodologies level to high standards, guided by manufacturing Strategy plans.

They support the Creation of efficient Operation Processes and do different assessment types (i.e.Benchmark, technology, RCA, Projects etc).

OE Engineer also manage knowledge sharing through the development and implementation of specialized training programs to leverage their own experience and skills to enhance the site front liners (Supervisors, engineers and Operations personnel) Knowledge and "Know-how".

The role is critical for the Manufacturing Processes driving MFG Excellence. OE Engineer, create an opportunity to continuously recognize and achieve high standards in terms of plant performance to achieve EHSS Sound, reliable and optimized asset utilization across all Global SABIC Sites through:

Identifying improvement opportunities to Maximized Asset Production.

Identifying improvement opportunities to Reduce Asset Operating costs.

Development and deployment of world-class Operational Methodologies, practices and functional expertise

Development of medium-long-term strategies

Networking & knowledge management and sharing related experiences

Responsibilities:

Measure/Monitor the effectiveness of provided solutions undertaken at sites and Lead or participate in assessments as appropriate.

Carry out a detailed analysis of Assets Operational Efficiency on a Global Level to extract common themes and issues to guide business focus and suggest improvements.

Take a role in a global team of professional assets operation experts to help inanalyzing performance, trends and data to identify common assets operation deficiencies/threats and opportunistic initiatives through direct interaction with other CoE teams

Carry out a detailed analysis of Assets Performance on a Global Level to extract common themes and issues to guide business focus and suggest improvements.

Act as a Global Function Support Expert for Root Cause Analysis for all types of investigations(EHSS, Reliability, Corporate matters etc.) to identify system deficiencies related to efficiency improvement and help in determining root causes using quality tools such as logictree, FMEA, 5-whys, fishbone analysis and other related methods.

Proposing expert resources between affiliates in order to maximize value creation within the client and set the business priorities from an assets operation perspective

Troubleshoot and solve acute problem situations with high business impact- Give advice and guidance with regard to chronic technical problems resolution journey

Work with a globally distributed team of operation experts and performance analysts to ensure common practices, resources utilization, networking and knowledge sharing within different performance improvement teams.

Work with a globally distributed team of Operational Experts and Performance Analysis Engineers ensuring common practices improvement, resource utilization, networking and sharing within Different Performance Improvement Teams, improving talent, support in succession planning and cooperation with other team members.

Take a role in a global team of Professional Operational Efficiency Experts to help in analyzing Performance Trends identifying common Operational EfficiencyDeficiencies/Threats and initiatives and asset performance monitoring, analysis and reporting.

Develop Efficient Stewardship Reporting on attended items.

Develop, organize and maintain robust operating rhythms with Affiliates to drive the Operational Integrity Business

Provide required support to lead or facilitate high-level Investigations/Performance Analysis at a Corporate or Affiliate/Site level

Facilitate the creation of an evolving knowledge base for the Global Assets Performance to ensure knowledge dissemination and sharing among users. create networks for OI aspects and Participate in relevant internal and external technical networks, conferences and technical committees.

Stewards cost-effectiveness using high-quality expert consultative support to SABIC sites to support the use of created systems and participates in providing experts to resolve complex issues in Process/Operations performance.

Must-Haves: (Technical, functional, and/or leadership experience required)

University BS Degree in Chemical Engineering

Strong Manufacturing Experience, 15 years experience in Petrochemical Industry in manufacturing with substantial exposure to operational, safety requirements and technical activities.

Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Extensive understanding of plant operations and Processes as Technical.

Good Knowledge of different Manufacturing Processes and means and ways of systematic improvement methodologies.

Good Knowledge of EHSS Standards.

Advanced Knowledge of RCA methodologies (i.e. Logic Tree, FMEA, Fault Tree)

Leading change and change management skills
