Job Details- Perform office related civil engineering in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and city/town officials
- Be capable of producing high quality designs in AutoCAD / Civil 3D
- Tasks include:
- Preparing plans for commercial and residential clients
- Preparing road profiles and pipe designs
- Preparing permit applications
- Meeting with clients and municipal officials
- Design:
- Grading for individual and multiple lot sites
- Septic systems in accordance with "Title 5" requirements
- Stormwater management systems
- Subdivisions with permits, including roadways, drainage and sewer designs
- Perform:
- On-site inspection and report findings
- Volume calculations
- Drainage analysis for land development projects for both commercial and residential using Hydro CAD or similar product
- Work in a team environment with our licensed land surveyors, civil engineers, and support staff
- Manage:
- Continually changing priorities, workload and multiple projects simultaneously
- Civil projects including permitting, design, contract management, and as built close out
- Project delivery on time and on budget
Pluses
- Have experience designing and permitting land use and land development projects (residential and commercial)
- B.S. in Civil Engineering, and have your FE/EIT; a P.E. license is a plus, MA Soil Evaluator is a plus;
- Have experience designing septic systems in Mass following "Title Five" requirements;
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and storm water modeling analysis using Hydro Cad or similar product
- Proficient in site grading, road, sewer and drainage design
- Be proficient in the English language, both spoken and written and possess strong communication skills
- Have a valid driver's license
