Sodexo is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of an Energy & Sustainability Program Manager to lead energy management and greenhouse gas reduction efforts across a portfolio of locations for a global pharmaceutical client with headquarters in Rahway, NJ. This position will report onsite.
Key Responsibilities

Support client sustainability goals and ensure sustainability is incorporated in the employee experience for the new Client's Global Headquarters at Rahway, NJ

Oversee a portfolio of energy and sustainability related data & reporting, education & awareness, and innovation initiatives

Assess viability of sustainability technical projects and identify opportunities to make sustainability an enhanced part of the workplace experience.

Coordinate delivery of initiatives across technical experts, capital project management team, supply chain, and community managers.
- Provide subject matter expertise to Sodexo and Client teams on site with regard to sustainability, energy, carbon footprint and waste reduction.

Investigate partnerships with local and national vendors, manage approval process as needed.

Engage with the account sustainability lead, site teams and client's Energy & Sustainability center of excellence to agree on sustainability initiatives to meet site sustainability goals.

Measure and verify outcomes of sustainability initiatives, test energy efficiency technologies, and provide regular reporting to Sodexo and client stakeholders against agreed metrics.

Undertake and manage waste and energy audits on sites. Identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:
- Experience delivering sustainability projects from conception to completion
- Experience working in Sustainability, Energy and Climate Action
- CEM (Certified Energy Manager) or LEED accreditation preferred
- Experience of working in a sustainability related field in a multi-site/multi discipline environment
- Client facing experience
- Knowledge and understanding of main sustainability challenges in facilities management.
- Ability to use digital platforms to measure, track and report progress
- Strong communicator and educator on sustainability topics

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Basic Functional Experience: 3 years
