Senior Principal Endpoint Engineer Manager (Specializing in Intune and Microsoft Products)

Seeking highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Endpoint Engineer Manager to join our innovative team. Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Principal Endpoint Engineer Manager with expertise in Intune and Microsoft products to lead our endpoint management initiatives. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining endpoint solutions to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of our technology infrastructure. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in building and upgrading our current applications and overall infrastructure, including creating gold images to be provided to our external vendor for building machines. Experience with Workday, Service Now, and Okta is highly desirable. Moreover, experience managing a team of engineers and familiarity with the healthcare industry are essential for success in this role.

Familiarity with ITIL processes and change control processes will also be advantageous.

Expertise in Quality Assurance Testing / UAT testing and the ability to create and distribute communications to business users are further desired qualifications.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of endpoint management solutions utilizing Microsoft Intune and other related Microsoft products.

Develop and maintain endpoint management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define endpoint security requirements and implement effective solutions to safeguard client data and privacy.

Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and support teams in diagnosing and resolving complex endpoint issues.

Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in endpoint management to identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement.

Drive automation initiatives to streamline endpoint provisioning, configuration, and maintenance processes, improving operational efficiency.

Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning activities to ensure scalability and reliability of endpoint infrastructure.

Contribute to the development and enhancement of our current applications and overall infrastructure, including creating gold images to be provided to our external vendor for building machines.

Utilize expertise in Workday, Service Now, and Okta to integrate endpoint management solutions and streamline processes.

Manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure the team's success

Apply familiarity with ITIL processes and change control processes to ensure smooth implementation and maintenance of endpoint solutions.

Oversee Quality Assurance Testing / UAT testing processes to ensure the reliability and performance of endpoint solutions.

Create and distribute communications to business users regarding changes, updates, and maintenance activities related to endpoint solutions.

Fundamental understanding of Mobile Phones and iPads as well as Apple Business Manager and best practices for monitoring and security for mobile devices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in endpoint engineering with a focus on Microsoft Intune and related Microsoft products.

In-depth knowledge of endpoint management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

Strong expertise in configuring and managing Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, and remote device management.

Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation and orchestration of endpoint management tasks.

Experience with Microsoft Intune and other endpoint management tools.

Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow, and Okta integration and administration.

Proven experience managing a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Understanding of the healthcare industry and its unique endpoint management challenges and requirements. - Familiarity with ITIL processes and change control processes.

Expertise in Quality Assurance Testing / UAT testing.

Ability to create and distribute communications to business users regarding endpoint solutions changes and updates.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex endpoint issues.

Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Relevant Certifications
