Encapsulation Technician
- Location: Chadds Ford, PA
- Pay Rate: $18.00 to $22.00/hour
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate machinery which fills liquid/powder product into capsules and band seals capsules
- Understand and demonstrate the proper manner of operating, cleaning and maintaining the equipment used in the encapsulation process.
- Adhere to all Quality Assurance regulations and complies with all Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) regulations and other company and industry policies and procedures.
- Observe all safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain batch records.
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
- Troubleshooting and minor equipment adjustments
- Additional duties as required or assigned by management.
Working Conditions
- Position requires lifting/standing and is carried out in the facility.
- Exposure to raw materials, chemicals and some dust
Required Skills and Abilities
- Ability to assemble and disassemble machinery
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience with machine operation
Education
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate or Equivalent
Experience
- Preferred minimum of 1-2 years machine operations experience in a manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
