Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Employment Law Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding cases, representing clients in all aspects of employment law issues. As part of our team, you will handle a full caseload, working closely with our senior attorneys and partners, and directly with our clients. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers competitive salary and benefits, as well as opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide insightful legal advice on a wide range of employment law matters, including but not limited to wage and hour disputes, workplace discrimination, wrongful termination, and employee rights.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation sessions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Collaborate with our team of attorneys to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including networking and client relationship management.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with at least 3 years of experience in employment law.
  • Proven experience representing clients in employment law cases, preferably on the plaintiff side.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
